Andrea Kennedy is a mom of three, an NASM-certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, and an AFAA-certified Group Fitness Instructor. In pursuing her passion of supporting moms in whole body health, Andrea has reached hundreds of women through her fitness classes, nutrition coaching, and mom villages nationwide.
After having her third child and emerging as a seasoned fitness and nutrition coach, Andrea began PowerMom FIT. She created PowerHour, her high-energy HIIT workouts on Zoom for moms coast-to-coast. Andrea also curated Power8, an 8-week nutrition and fitness small-group coaching experience for moms to prioritize their health and reach their body goals.
Moms around the country also know Andrea as an instructor for the national fitness organization FIT4MOM. In addition to teaching PowerHour, she also teaches workouts with FIT4MOM Tri-Valley when her schedule allows. Andrea has taught with FIT4MOM around the country since 2016 with her (then) infant and toddler as copilots.
Previous to this, Andrea was a career writer and editor for magazines as well as professional institutions and organizations nationwide. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Santa Clara University.
Born and raised in San Diego, Andrea has lived and worked in LA, Miami, and New York, and has since settled in the Bay Area. She's a solar-powered beach girl who loves family dance parties, dating her husband, plant-forward recipes, and Vitamin D.
